About Us

Welcome to the art fileWe created our business in 1997 and exhibited at Spring Fair in Birmingham for the first time the following year. Since then The Art File has grown to establish itself as a leading independent publisher of greeting cards, stationery and more recently gifts. The company is based in the historic Lace Market area in the centre of Nottingham, England.

Today our award winning cards are sold worldwide through a broad band of design inspired retailers which include leading high street names and an array of excellent independent stores. Many of our collections are created by our talented in house design team although we also work with some highly skilled freelance designers. This combined resource allows us to constantly refresh our offer and stay ahead of developing trends and contemporary fashion.

At The Art File we believe passionately that we should produce as many of our products in the UK as we are able to. We use the finest materials and the latest printing techniques available to create beautiful cards and stationery which have a true quality and uniqueness to them.

Sending a card to someone usually marks an occasion and reflects the taste of the sender as well as the recipient. It is always absolutely all about the design detail. We look forward to you joining us on the paper revolution.

If you are interested in distributing our products in your own country please contact sales@theartfile.com. We already successfully export our products to over 30 countries worldwide and are always on hand to offer advice and support on which lines are most suitable for export.
